It’s all about you!!
Have you taken an honest look at yourself? Perhaps it is time you take a close look at how self aware you are without any attachment to it being right or wrong, good or bad.
You should have a clear understanding of who you are. Your strengths, weaknesses, beliefs, thoughts and your emotions. Knowing this will allow you to recognise how others perceive you.
Most of us go through life not knowing who we really are, what defines us, what makes us unique, lovable, and ultimately what makes us happy.
Many of us live our lives through others, not taking the time to do what it is that we want to do or enjoy. Be it hobbies, special interests, friends and travel or just taking time out and visiting a place we love and enjoy, like the beach, a rain forest, or a retreat in a tranquil environment where we can sit, relax and contemplate our futures.
Being self aware in our environment, be it at home, in the workplace, out and about shopping, at parties, luncheons or around family/friend gatherings is important. We carry ourselves a certain way, we talk a certain way and we behave a certain way. These things define who we are and aso become the traits that people around us know about us. I am not for one minute saying that you should be fake and put out false pretenses. Be yourself, be genuine, and authentic, but take pride in your appearance, the way you talk to others and the way you use your body language. Here is a short Self Awareness test from iNLP that will let you know if you are self aware: http://inlpcenter.org/self-awareness-test/
Do you know your purpose in Life?
If you are meandering through life, hoping to stumble upon what you are looking for, it is time to identify your purpose in life and you will have something to aim for and a destination to arrive at.
What are your values?
Values are an important attribute to all of us in our lives, what are your values in life? If your goals don’t match your purpose, you’re still not going to get where you want to be. Now is the time to identify your goals to see if they closely resemble your values and purpose in life.
What are your strengths?
If you know what you are good at, you can express yourself through them. Some people have trouble identifying their strengths, so in that case think about what others say you’re good at. Knowing your strengths and sharing them with others will help you with your confidence and self esteem.
What are your needs?
Identifying your needs can be daunting and all to often we can be hesitant in acknowledging our needs, because there is a part of us that think it is somewhat selfish and self absorbing. This is so untrue! If you went through life without needs is bad for you, both physically and mentally. Many live their lives without realising their dreams and depart this world with a long list of regrets. Make a point of not being one of them. Write a list of your top 5 needs and get them done before it is to late. It’s all about you!!
Never underestimate the power of giving. Sharing gifts with others gives your own life a sense of meaning and purpose! Pay it forward whenever you can, volunteer if you have time, help those you see struggling to maintain their independence due to illness, frailty or other devastating diseases such as dementia or physical disability.
Are you invested in your financial future? If you are, then that’s gret, but what I would like to encourage you to do is invest in Cryptocurrency, by getting yourself a digital wallet.
If you need a bitcoin wallet then I recommend CoinBase.
When you have registered, confirmed and done your KYC (ID approval) and deposited your first $100 you will receive a bonus. How good is that?
Make your life worthy of it’s existence. Leave this life knowing that you have been your authentic self, done what you have set out to accomplish, and have built a nest egg to leave your loved ones. Be Happy with your life and lifestyle. Remember It’s all about you..
